2018 Concerts

A new series of concerts is planned for 2018.  Initial details are below, concerts will start at 7pm or 7:30pm followed by refreshments.  Information updated as we receive it:

Choral Evensong:   Sunday 25th November at 6:30pm we will be holding a cathederal style choral evensong sung by Voces Novae.

Gaudeamus Choir:  The brilliant Gaudeamus, one of Southend's leading choirs will hopefully be returning to St Augustine's soon!

See a picture of Gaudeamus below

23rd June - Coach Trip:  On Sat 23rd June there will be a parish day out to Guildford, leaving at 9am from the church and returning after evensong at Guildford Cathedral at 5pm. Final costs etc in due course, but put this in your diaries now! Fr Jonathan

The coach trip was a brilliant success where we were able to hear a Handbell Ringing Service in Guilford's Cathederal - if anyone has photos taken on the day please send them to Barbara Black for inclusion on the website - many thanks

All Souls Service.  All Soulstide in early November is that time when the Church especially remembers all those who have died and those who mourn them.

Where to find us

Google says we're right here!

The church itself is on an island site at the junction of Johnstone Road and St Augustine’s Avenue.

Our address is:
